Dorothy Rita Arabie Bollinger went home to Our Lord on August 15, 2023. She was 97 years of age. She enjoyed a full life filled with adventure, love, volunteering, and the occasional bout of mischief. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her sons, Lionel and Ralph Bollinger, Jr, along with their wives Melanie and Cindy; her stepdaughter, Gloria Steed, and her family; her brother, Richard Arabie, and his family; grandchildren Jessica and Kevin Bollinger; and great grandchildren Joseph Curtis, and Connar and Kolby Bollinger. A memorial mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 1, 2023, at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland, Louisiana. The visitation will be from 10-11 that morning. Interment will follow at the St. Hilary Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude in Dorothy’s name.
Sorry for your lost uncle Ralph & Lionel. I have great memories of grandpa Ralph and nanny dot at the house across the street from the bayou. I loved the pool room above the garage and the giant trees in the back yard. Nanny dot was always a sweetheart to me. Hope y’all are doing well love gary
