Justin was one of my first friends growing up outside the trailer park kids I grew up with. He was the first person I learned what a best friend was. We would always go back and forth to each others house and hung out everyday at school. We played basketball, explored the woods around his dad’s house, and would skateboard all day long. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time. Life took us different ways. But every so often we would have a chat. The last time we spoke I remember congratulating him on his accomplishments with his drone racing team. He wa seriously good and he complimented my music accomplishments. I wish I had gotten to see him and hang out just one more time. RIP JFurn
Justin was one of the most honest guys I’ve ever met. Years ago, the first day we met, I told him I appreciated honesty and from that day on, even if it made me mad, he was always straight up.
Unfortunately most of the memories I have with Justin are from years ago but we had recently reconnected after almost 10 years. The first time we hung out it was like nothing had changed. He was a great friend. Always cutting up and making each other laugh, all but a handful of our moments together were lighthearted and I think I appreciated that the most about him. He made me remember not to take myself too seriously. He told me no one really called him this anymore but, he’ll always be Furnie to me. Love you my boy. Miss you tons. See you later. 🩷
One time out by the pool at Gma’s house, Justin would not get on the phone to talk to his dad because he called the wrong number. So Justin we say what is the right number. His answer 1-800-I’m bad!
