Cary McConnell Dougherty III “Beau” passed away at his home in Memphis, TN at the age of 44. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Patricia Skyring Dougherty (Mendes) and Cary McConnell Dougherty Jr. He was a compassionate and sensitive soul. He found solace in being in nature. He loved music, being in the woods, playing on the beach, and hiking in the mountains. He loved animals and his family. He was a creative artist, craftsman, and outdoorsman. Making gifts for his family and friends brought him great joy. Beau faced many struggles and hardships but he never gave up. He was funny and kind and his laughter will never leave us. We will miss him and none of us will be the same without him. “If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever” A private funeral service will be held for his family. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: Grace Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 28, St. Francisville, LA 70775
I never met beau in real life, we have been in contact through facebook since 2018. He shared some of his problems and life across the world. You will always be remembered beau thank you for being a friend.
Several years back, I heard Beau was in a tough spot. I did what I could to try and help him out. He promised me a big greasy cheeseburger at Huey’s once he got past the problem, and that’s a meal I’ll never forget. Beau’s intelligence is what always stood out to me the most. He was always thinking several steps ahead. God Bless!
What a heck of a guy, I bet you he was just as funny as he was in high school. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Only the good die young.
A piece of my heart will always be with you. The last messages I have from you I will hold on to forever.
You are in very good company with so many of my loved ones.
Love you Beau
♥️🕊️
Thank you ❤️
Ill always remember coming to visit Liz and having you run out of the house every time and jumping into my truck . You’d always want to go through my Memphis underground tapes . I remember that goofy guy always cutting up . We didn’t have many years together but the ones we shared will last a life time . You’ll always be my little brother. I love you man
❤️
Beau loved people deeply. He loved animals over people. (I don’t blame him) He was a kind hearted guy with a big heart. His love was child like and could find an adventure in anything. He loved sunrises and sunsets. He loved to be still. He taught me how to truly breathe and be present in the moment. He loved his family. Beau struggled deeply and NOW he is free from any past or pain! He will be missed but NOT forgotten. His laugh was contagious. To his family may you find comfort that he is at peace and love each day as he would. Enjoy the sunshine and remember he is everywhere. Ask God to show you! I love you all. All my Love- Kate🙏🏼🌈💙

Beau was a lovely person. When he loved he loved deeply. He loved animals and would help any pet anywhere. His love was child like and truly could find fun in anything especially outdoors. Beau also struggled deeply in pain, and now he is free from any past or pain. I pray for his family to have peace and find him in their daily lives. His laugh was contagious. He will be truly missed but not forgotten🌈🙏🏼🦋💙
I’m am just hearing this tragic news and my heart is broken… I’m angry and so sad you are gone… I don’t know what happened. But my heart is so heavy. I have so much love for you Beau! You had such a light inside you. We had many deep conversations of spirituality and God! Now all the answers of those mysteries are revealed. I pray you have found peace…. Wish we could have had more time just being! Love you unconditionally !
I remember him riding with me from Memphis to Nashville to load my daughters furniture into a U-Haul truck ,bring it back to Memphis, unload into a storage unit while my daughter went to a party in Nashville. We talked about racism , religion ,politics, and our struggles, which were the same. We played golf together. I will truly miss him. .
Thank you for sharing that Marlon. It brings me comfort to read about your fond memories of my brother. To know that he will be missed by so many
Love you dad I always wished I atleast called you u funny spirt u miss u very much
To know him is to unconditionally love him. One of the kindest souls with one of the toughest paths, I will forever be grateful for the time, laughter, grace, friendship, peace, love and wisdom he shared with me. The world is a much darker place without knowing that this sweet man is walking within it. My heart a bit more empty knowing that I will no longer receive a message or song he thought might make me smile. May his family rest in knowing that he rests peacefully in the heavens watching those that he loves from above, forever more. ~ Angel
Thank for that beautiful tribute Angel
