
Jason Drake Denny departed this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 due to a heat stroke at the age of 50. Drake was raised in Baton Rouge and was a resident of Gonzales, LA. He was the loving husband of his sweetheart, Myra for 14 years; the loving father of Janie and the son of John Thomas Denny III and Bernadette Nacol Denny. He is also survived by a sister Gina Wilson and her husband Daniel Wilson, two nephews, Luke and Tommy and a niece Stella.
Drake was a good husband, father, brother, and son. His passion and priority was for his family first. He loved adventure trips and vacations with his family. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and 49ers football.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Healing Place Church Annex, 19202 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 10AM until NOON. The Funeral Service will begin at NOON. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the St. Jude Childrens’ Hospital are preferred.

Drake started working for the Marriott Baton Rouge in January or ’23. He was a great addition to our hotel staff. He always had a kind greeting for our guests and coworkers. Drake will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.
