Christopher “Leon” Norris was born on July 17th, 1980 in Hattiesburg, MS and entered eternal life on January 9th, 2023 at the age of 42 in Hammond, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father Clytice “CW” Norris III and niece Payton Wiley, maternal grandparents Dorothy and Don Strickland.
He was survived by his mother Dorothy Norris, his brothers CW Norris IV, Donald Norris, and sisters Tiffany Chapman and husband Timothy Chapman, Stephanie Wiley and husband Matthew Wiley, his children Caine Scholes, Micha Matherne and husband Gatlin Matherne, and Carley Scholes, three nephews, eight nieces, one great niece, and three granddaughters.
Leon was a resident of St. Amant, LA and obtained a twenty-year career as an electrician. He was best known as a fun-loving, family-oriented individual. He spent his time cooking Louisiana style meals and enjoyed sharing them with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, poppa and friend to all that knew him.
Graveside services for Christopher Norris will be held on Wednesday, 02/15/2023 at 11:00 AM at Landmark Missionary Cemetery located on Fay Walters St. in Wiggins, Mississippi.
Leon and my son Thomas Abington was best friends since 3rd grade. I loved Leon like another son. Will remember happy times of fishing trips we took with Leon tagging along. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family, and friends who are heart broken. Mommy D loves you. You will always be in my heart.
The little time we spent together working was enough to see the quality of person he was. Christopher Leon Norris I Francis Rodriguez love you from the bottom of my heart. I’m going to miss you brother.
