Vernon Joseph Haik, Jr. passed away from natural causes on December 24, 2022, in Franklinton, Louisiana at the age of sixty. Vernon was born to Vernon Joseph Haik, Sr. and Marie Louise Amore in Edgard, Louisiana.
Vernon has been a lifelong resident of Louisiana, growing up in Metairie, where he met and married Robin Twickler in March of 1999. The couple made their home in Metairie before moving to Franklinton.
Vernon was a talented machinist, working for Rite Way Piston Ring Company throughout his early career.
Vernon was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents and is survived by his loving wife, Robin and his father, Vernon Joseph Haik, Sr.
Vernon’s wishes were to be cremated. A private spreading of his ashes will take place at the family homestead at a later date.
