
Rene Louis Poirrier, IV (Pumpkin) a resident of Donaldsonville, Louisiana passed away October 14, 2022, at the age of 61.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
A grave site blessing will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic cemetery on November 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life reception at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church hall, 716 Mississippi Street, Donaldsonville. Rene was born on March 7, 1961 to Rene Louis Poirrier, III and the late Florence Sourita Poirrier of Donaldsonville, Louisiana.
He is survived by his father Rene Louis Poirrier, III, (Ann) brother Russell (Pam), Mark (Ronnie) and sister Denise along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his loving mother and great nephew Kameron Guillot.
Pumpkin graduated from Donaldsonville High School in 1980. He was an exceptionally gifted carpenter, but he will best be remembered for his witty humor, gentle heart and kind personality
