Douglas promised me that I would laugh every day that we were together he was so right. I cried when I would leave the house so he wouldn’t know. He was more worried about me than himself. Now I cry when I’m home because he’s not here. There will be a day when I laugh again. See you then My Love.
This is a very sad day. The loss of this man will forever be felt. His work ethic and positive attitude was a testament to anyone who knew him. Despite his diagnosis, he worked circles around most people. And don’t feel sorry for him, oh, no! He will tell you real quick to keep it positive. He was a vital part of our workplace and has left a void that will never be filled. We love you Doug !!! You certainly fought the big fight. I wish our prayers for your health were answered so we could keep you longer, but I suppose you have been given the assignment of your next calling.
God Bless you and your family. Our prayers are with them, as well.
