Mrs. Bondy, Peter, and Jennifer, I just learned today of Mr. Bondy’s passing. I first met Mr. Peter a few years ago at a Manresa Day of Recollection. After that, he started attending with our group 5. Mr. Peter tried for years to get me to call him Peter, but I never obliged, as I told him my dad who was in Heaven would not approve. What a genuine and awesome husband and father you all had. I know he is up in Heaven and looking down and watching over us and I know the group 5 Men of Manresa are blessed to have known him.
Yvonne,
I was so sad to see Peter passed away. I used to talk to him on the phone when he had a question, or when I needed to do math. He was a marvel at those values. I will never forget the only Christmas party we had for the networking group at my office. You and Pete were the life of the party. What a good time! My thoughts are with you and the kids and I am praying for all of you. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
We loved Mr. Pete. He & Mrs. Yvonne were the best neighbors. We think of you both often. Mr. Pete will certainly be missed but not forgotten. Praying for Mrs. Yvonne & family for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Thank you, BJ. I recently learned of your collaborative efforts with my dad to educate medical staff. Your continued work on this matter is a beautiful way to remember him.
I just met Peter at our meetings for Parkinson and its Wellness Program at SAGE.WE are also members of the support group Movers and Shakers. At the last meeting it was mentioned about the changes in his meds. I am newly diagnosed with Parkinson and I am sad to hear of his passing. My sympathy goes to his wife Yvonne and children.
Thank you, Owen.
I remember when I met my uncle. I think it was around 1990. He was traveling to Guayaquil and we went to pick him up from the airport. I didn’t know how he looked like, so my mom told me to keep a lookout for a bald head. We surely found him. The nicest memory I have about him though is much more recent. probably around January this year. We were on a video call, and he was being silly with my son Santiago. They where making faces and laughing a lot together. I really enjoyed looking at them having fun together, even though being miles away from each other. I will always wonder, how it would have been, if they got to meet each other in person.
Now, this old bald head went to rest, and I hope he is at peace. And I wish you dear Aunt Yvonne, and cousins Jennifer and Peter also peace and strenght.
Cousin, I recently saw photos of dad when he was younger. I almost did not recognize him because he had hair! Should Santiago remember his great uncle, I am glad the memories will be happy ones. 🙂
He will be greatly missed in the Parkinson’s community. I was just getting to know him. He wanted to work together on educating medical staff on the needs of Parkinson’s patients. We will carry these efforts on in his memory.
the world lost a light with the passing of mr. pete. he was such a kind, beautiful person and there wasn’t a single time that i saw him that he didn’t make me laugh. praying that his memory will be a blessing to his loved ones.
On behalf of my family, I thank you for your kind words, Adelaide.
I am heartbroken to read this. Pete was a very special person that always brightened any room he entered. Yvonne, and Jennifer and Peter Jr., please accept my condolences. I am so sorry.
Thank you, Pam. My mother and brother also send their thanks for your kind message and condolences.
