James Gary Brignac, a native and resident of St. Amant, Louisiana, died Monday, June 13, 2022 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband for 63 years of Mae Bourgeois Brignac and loving father of Beth Brignac Forbes, Becky Brignac Bourgeois, and Brenda Brignac Schexnaydre. He is also survived by 2 sisters, 7 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
James was born January 9, 1937 and graduated from Dutchtown High School in 1954. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1955 and was Honorably discharged in 1959. James was employed as an Electrician and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
