A resident and a native of Prairieville, La, Ronnie L Quebedeaux, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 18th, 2021. He was born on March 18th, 1958 to Berdie and James Quebedeaux.
He was a paint & body technician at Hwy 44 Paint and Body and a Pipeline Inspector for many years. He was a great man and loved by everyone that ever met him! He was always making people smile and laugh with his sense of humor, he was a talented creative man that loved to build things, he also loved lights!! Lights everywhere of every color! I just know that right now he is standing in the presence of the most beautiful light coming from Jesus and seeing colors he never imagined!
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 27 years Susan K Quebedeaux and 4 stepchildren, Nathan, Tracy, Brandy, and Joshua, as well as 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded by death by his parents and brother (Danny Quebedeaux).
Services to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at 10:30 am at Central Baptist Church 14200 N Burnside Ave Gonzales, La 70737
Such a terrible loss. Ronnie was one of a kind, a good caring man that would do anything for you. A very smart man, a man that gave his all in everything that he did. I have known Ronnie for several years and never heard him say anything bad about anyone. Fly high in the heavens my friend. God Bless you and your family.
I first met Ronnie in the 10th grade when we moved to Gonzales. He was a good friend ever since then, we have made some memories over all these years! So long my brother until I see you again🙏
Many memories and good times!! May God bless and give comfort at this time!!!
It is so hard to believe. Ronnie was a great friend. He will be missed so much. Prayers for his family. R.I.P. MY FRIEND. IT’S NOT THE SAME WITH YOU GONE.
Sorry to lose another cousin, our family is growing smaller as time goes by. I attended the services for his dad, Jimmy Quebedeaux, who drowned in Blind River while fishing,( seems like yesterday when my dad and Uncle brought his boat back to my grandfathers), and his mother, my aunt Bertie Lee James Quebedeaux, who died from cancer. We lost track of one another through the years, but never from my memory
. One funny note about Ronnie, every time the tv station signed off, the National Anthem was played. Ronnie would wake Aunt Bert up, and insist she stand with her hand over her heart. He was one of a kind when he was young, I shall miss him, and will always cherish the memories of he and Danny when growing up.
I am glad this was posted on Facebook or I would have never known. Sadly, I am now the sole remaining cousin in the James family.
My condolences and prayers are with the family.
This is Susan his wife, this is so funny I don’t think he remembered this he never mentioned it I’m so happy you shared this thank you
Your family is in our thoughts.
Sis I am so very sorry that you are going thru this. I cared for Ronnie very much. I believe he is in a much better place. You know mom and dad were there to greet him as he stepped into his LORDS presences. We love you and in our prayers
