Janet Datri Sulzer, a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of St. Francisville, LA, got her angel wings on April 19, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Verna Datri, Sr., and her brother, Joseph Datri, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bernard (Ben) A. Sulzer, Jr.; daughters, Michele Sulzer, Lori Hopkins and husband Lee, Kelley Jacobs and husband Sean; and grandchildren, Ellen and Emma Hopkins, Claire Sulzer, and Joseph and James Jacobs; many nieces, nephews, other family members and cherished friends. She was well loved and will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
What more can be said? My thoughts of Janet have been with me through the days and nights from April 19.
Thank you!
Condolences to all of Janet’s family. It is extremely hard to do anything other than grieve right now, but time heals all. Someday in the somewhat distant future, hopefully, you will remember her with love and happiness. If I can be of any help, please don’t hesitate to call.
Love, Maw
Thank you!
From the Mills camp, we send our love and support to all the family and friends. Though circumstances delay the celebration of such a wonderful life, we look forward to joining you when the time is right and want you to know we are there for you now and always.

Thank you!
I am sorry to hear of your loss of Janet. I got to know Janet thru OLMC Women’s Auxiliary & always enjoyed visiting with her at our meetings. She was in charge of the nursing home cakes for the last few years & did a great job with that task. I take comfort in knowing that her faith was strong. All family members and friends are in my prayers at this time of loss.
Thank you!
From everyone in the Gibson/Mincey house, to our extended Hopkins/Sulzer family, we send our most heartfelt condolences. We will cherish our many memories with Mrs. Janet. She was a spunky lady who welcomed us as part of her family! She will be missed by many.
Thank you!
