Gaynell Comeaux McElwee born December 28, 1940 was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, LA before re-locating with her daughter to Prairieville, LA. She went to be with her maker on February 23, 2021 at the age of 80. She enjoyed gardening and loved life. Gaynell was a proud mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Marisu Jernigan and her grandson John Cole Holliday.
She is preceded by her husband Frank McElwee.
As her wishes, no public visitation or service will be held.
