
Norma Wallendal Landry gained her angels wings on June 15, 2018. At the age of 76, she entered her heavenly home. We will miss her positive attitude, joyful heart, and beautiful smile. She was a native of Woodland, WI and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Norma worked as a personnel supervisor at Ormet for more than 20 years then as an office manager for Saint Elizabeth’s Physician’s Clinic for many more years. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, BJ Landry; son, Dan Jacobsen and his wife Lisha Jacobsen; stepdaughter, Patti Frentz; stepdaughter, Julie McIntosh and her husband Henry McIntosh; sister, Jeanne Jessie; brother, Dick Wallendal and his wife Sybil Wallendal; grandchildren, Patrick and Kelli; and great-grandchild, Kinsli. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wallendal; her mother, Retta Wallendal; brother-in-law, Jim Jessie, and husband, Ronnie Lipsey. Please join us for a Celebration of Life Memorial on June 30, 2018 at The Venue, 13475 Highway 431 in St. Amant, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Norma’s pastor, Blake Melancon, will deliver the Celebration of Life message at 12:00 pm. The Celebration of Life message will be followed by live music and food from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm to honor Norma’s love of music and playing the accordion in the River Rats Band. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, or the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
