A ceremony celebrating the life of Beacher “Woodie” Ferguson will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday January 23, 2018 at Faithful United Methodist Church; wake begins at 10:00am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mrs. Ferguson was born on December 25, 1918 and departed from this life on January 18, 2018 at the age of 99 years. She was a resident of Gonzales, a homemaker, and attended Household of Faith Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, James G. and Lula Singletary Williams; husband, Joseph M. Ferguson; son, Ronald Carl Templet; siblings, James C., Glen D., Carter W., Huey L., Rex A. Williams, and Melissa Lea Marson. Survivors include her daughter, Effie “Josie” Templet; siblings, Zemly Clouatre, Carl Nash and Gene Allen Williams; grandchildren, Jason Carl Moffitt, Stacy Denise Moffitt, Ernest Drake Moffitt and Phillip Lance “Charlie” Moffitt; also survived by six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, host of nieces and nephews.
