A ceremony celebrating the life of Charles “Buddy” Jerome Miller will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 29, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 57805 Main Street, Plaquemine, LA 70764, visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service.
Mr. Buddy was born on September 6, 1936 in Plaquemine, LA and passed away on October 25, 2018, he was 82 years old.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. “Bob” Miller and Lola Gilmore Miller Carline, brothers, W.G. “Sonny”, James “Petoo”, Carl and R. E. Miller, sisters, Alice M. Martin and Lola “Teetsie” Estelle Miller Bezet.
Survived by his loving wife, Shirley Mae Landry Miller, daughters, Jamie Miller DiBenedetto and husband, Nicholas, Jill Miller Blouin and husband, Mark, sons, Charles R. “Bobby” Miller and wife Paula, Barry C. Miller and wife, Bonita, Scott A. Miller, grandchildren, Cory DiBenedetto, Crystal DiBenedetto, Lauren Savoy, Jenna Miller, Jenny Dupry, Brandi Miller, Trent Miller, Lancen Miller, Bryce Miller, Leslie Mclin, Lance Blouin, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and countless others who called him Pawpaw Buddy.
Pallbearers will be Cory, Trent, Lancen, Bryce, Lance, Jeremy, honorary pallbearers, Jonathan Talbot, Kenny Mclin and Micah Dupry.
May God wrap his Loving around the Miller family to give them strength and faith to get through this.
I have known, Mr. Buddy since I was a child. Our family and his often got together at each other home. May he rest in Peace.
