My Uncle Carl was always good to me and my two sisters,Debbie and Marie.
I remember getting really excited when I was little and when my Uncle Carl was coming in for a visit ith his wife Phyllis.
He would bring firecrackers or bring his motorcycle and ride us around on it.
When I was 18 Uncle Carl invited me to come stay with them in Louisiana cause jobs were scarce in Pulaski,Va.,and he and I fixed up his volkswagen and he let me use it as my own.
Uncle Carl was like that, he was always looking to help us kids when we were struggling and anyone else that needed a hand up.
I sure will miss calling him up and talking to him about the old days.
Uncle Carl was a genuine and generous person and I will miss him.
