Lucille Marie Rousseau Resendiz, born in Independence, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the age of 65. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Bercegeay and husband, Joseph Trahan II; grandchildren, Cristhian Bercegeay, Jacob Barker, Austin Barker, Joseph Trahan III; granddaughter, Princess Bercegeay, as well as three great granddaughters. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, Rogers and Eronie Fontenot Rousseau; 1 sister and 4 brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Whitehall Community Cemetery.
