Edith “Edie” Bergeron Alford Roller, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of
Prairieville, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age of 57. Edie graduated from O. Perry Walker High School in 1982. She worked as a nursing assistant for 15 years. She enjoyed
fishing, cooking, and outings with her family and friends. Edie is survived by her husband, Michael Roller; children, Chelcie M. Alford, Ericka L. Alford, Joseph E. Johnson, Alicia M. Roller Blackmon and husband, Patrick S. Blackmon; father, Irvin Bergeron Jr; sister, Kim Bergeron; grandchildren, Alexis D. Durst, Ian D. King,
Ryley D. Gonzales, Kollen J. Anderson, Lalicea K. Blackmon, LaDazia S. Blackmon and Ja’Ceon O
Blackmon. She is preceded in death by her mother, Frances L. Najolia Bergeron. Visitation will be held
on Friday, October 7, 2022, at The Church International of St. Amant in the Timothy Building from 11:00
am until service time at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow funeral services. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at The Baton
