A native of Walker, LA and a resident of St. Francisville, LA he passed away in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He retired from Baton Rouge Beer Agency after 32 years of service, and was currently employed by Red Stick Hot Shot Service. Visitation will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 31449 N. Corbin Rd., Walker LA 70785, from 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am on Friday, August 17, 2018. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Jones. Interment will be at Denham Springs Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sylvia Perkins Reine; daughters, Jan Dixon, and Robyn Martin & wife Brandy; son, Robert “Hoss” Reine & wife Michelle; brother, Louis “Bernie” Reine, III; sister in law & husband, Shirley & Randy Stalsby; and brother in law & wife, Virgil & Joyce Perkins; 11 grandchildren, Casey Williams (Dusty), Danielle Turner (Chance “Bull”), Brandi Hoyt (Gary), Kelly Pipkins (Josh), Jarred Knight (Drew), Steven Dixon (Bailee), Brett Reine; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Reine; father, Louis “Bernie” Reine, II; and brother Charles “Pochee” Reine.
