Brayden Dwayne Howze, while surrounded by family and cuddled in his mother’s arms, entered into Heaven on September 27, 2023 at 3:16 pm! He was born in Baton Rouge, La. on January 28, 2000 to Jessica Howze and Brodie Hebert. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Kenneth Hebert; great-grandparents, Raymond and Hazel Howze and Conrad (Dee) D’Arensbourg; and great-uncle, Kenneth Mark D’Arensbourg. He is survived by his mother, Jessica Howze; father, Brodie Hebert; grandparents, Dennis and Debbie Howze, and Patsy Hebert; great-grandmother, Helen D’Arensbourg; aunts and uncles, Jamie Howze Vitrano and Brett Vitrano, Jennifer Howze, and Kyle Hebert; cousins, Ayden McMorris, Evan McMorris, and Owen Findley; great-aunts and great-uncle, Phyllis Thibault, Lawanna Ard, Doug D’Arensbourg, and Kim Odom; and many loving cousins. Brayden was a sweet and gentle soul. He had an unspoken communication that reached the hearts of everyone who met him. From infancy his smile would light up the entire room!! He endured many trials and hardships through his life and yet he was always happy and without complaint. Brayden faced many giants and conquered them daily; he carried a load he could never escape. He did it courageously, bravely, and wisely; expressing love and happiness through it all. Brayden’s name means wisdom, strength, courage, and perseverance and he truly possessed all four. We were beyond blessed to have the honor of sharing our lives with him. He was his momma’s darlin’ heart! The breathtaking value of love, joy and happiness he shared will be etched in our hearts and minds forever. Please join us in a Celebration of Brayden’s Life on Saturday, October 14th at 12:30 pm at Victory in Christ: 26012 Hwy 42 Holden, La. 70744 Family and friends of Brayden D. Howze who prefer to provide a memorial gift may do so. The family will use these gifts to honor Brayden’s life and memory. Please continue to keep the family in your thoughts throughout this challenging time.
It was an Honor to be able to pray into Brayden’s life and baptize this young man before God called one of his children back home. He is now forever healed and made brand new. We will miss your earthly body and smile, but we must all understand the process of life and death. We all will return to our Heavenly Father.
Peace and Blessings over this family.
Amen
That was my guy. He beat me to heaven. So grateful to have hung out with him and other family members. Thanks to Jessica and her parents for sharing so many wonderful things that B was a part of early In Life…. I had no idea. The cool thing is-I will see my Warrior again one day. #LOVEDTHATDUDE

Sincere condolences to this, brave, loving and strong family. No one could have done a better job, than his caregivers ministering to Brayden hour by hour in his journey. God bless and comfort you all for a job well done.
My heart hurts for you all but it also sings for Brayden. He is with the Lord now and so happy! He is walking, dancing, and he is singing with the angels!
I pray, comfort and peace for you in the coming months and years because you will miss him,
but I know you are happy for him, and Brayden would want you to be happy now too.
Love you all.
