Dear Benham Family,
I am so sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one, Ciera. Even though I do not know her family personally, I would like to offer my sincere condolences. May you all draw comfort and hope from God’s Word the Bible where he promises that, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away” (Rev. 21:4). Isn’t it comforting to know our loving Creator will wipe away all things that cause us sadness? His beloved Son also promises that, “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” (John 5:28-29). God is “The God of all Comfort” and he assures you “He is close to all the broken-hearted, and he saves those crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). It is my hope that these promises will give you comfort now and a real hope for your future. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow.
