A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church, 21039 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA with Brother Carl Sullivan as officiant. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Gray’s Creek Baptist Church, 21039 LA-16, Denham Springs, LA.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Clinton Vaughn; five children, Teresa (Tommy) Gandy, Jerry (Dianne) Vaughn, Clark (Frances) Vaughn, Vicky (Howard) Hall and Sandra Vaughn; sister, Betty Carmichael; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis C and Ruby Grey Clark; sisters, Mildred, Margie Lee (her twin) and Doris; brothers, Billy, Curtis “Boot”, Jack, Bob and Melvin.
Pallbearers will be Hunter and Drake Coupel, Chance Vaughn, Colt Vaughn, Brent Vaughn and Brody Vaughn.
She was a devoted servant of God and was loved by all for her soft heart, loving sense of humor and gentle spirit.
The family would like to express special thanks to Louisiana Life Resources and Flannery Oaks Guest House nursing and staff.
Church Funeral Services of Walker is in charge of the arrangements.
