A great husband, father, grandfather, son and brother as well as a special brother-in-law, godfather/uncle and loyal friend to many who affectionally called him Coozie. Special thanks to Hospice of Baton Rouge for their superb care and support and especially caregivers Lisa and Lexi.
He was a graduate of the first class of EA High School in 1967. He worked for many years at Uniroyal Chemical where he was known as “Psycho” by his co-workers and friends there. He enjoyed dancing and listening to the local bands, baking sweet treats as presents, keeping up with his loved ones on Facebook, cruising, and cuddling with his sweet mini dachshund puppies Sugar Belle and Mini Me who were waiting at heaven’s gate to greet him.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, June 27th at Holy Rosary Church in St. Amant, with visitation from 9am-11am followed by funeral mass and burial service at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales.
So sorry and praying for God’s Grace to offer you and your family love and comfort during the upcoming days of realizing he is now in the arms of God.
Joan, please accept our deepest sympathy. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
