Ralph William Jason Sims (Jason), 49, of Pearlington, Mississippi, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at North Oaks Medical Center. Predeceased is his father, Johnny Leon Sims Sr., mother, Suzanne Jan Napier Lawlis, and brother, Ronnie Leon Sims. His surviving family includes sisters, April West (husband John) & Shiri LeAnne Raker (husband David), his brother, Johnny Leon Sims Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Jason was known for his love and life’s work of animals. Donations to your local animal rescue shelter in his memory are appreciated. No funeral or memorial service will be held. The family invites you to celebrate the memory of Ralph (Jason) privately in your own ways. He will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved him!
My dearest friend, Jason, you made my life richer and fuller for all the years I’ve known you. You called me friend; you called me pastor, but most importantly you let me in. You were always on the move helping others, so much that I would nearly have to run to keep up. I’m gonna miss your regular text messages and I’m gonna miss your presence. But I know where you are, and I’ll be there soon. Rest well and give your mom a hug for me.
