Landon Joseph Schexnayder, resident of St. Amant, LA, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the age of 26. He was born on September 25, 1996 and was a graduate of St. Amant High School. Landon was the most respectful, sweetest, kind hearted person who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He had a love for visiting abandoned buildings, hiking, his play station, boating and hot fries. He deeply loved his family and friends. He is survived by his parents, John and Dana LeMaire Schexnayder; brother, Corey (Leslie) Moran; neice/godchild, Aubree Moran; nephew, Beckham Moran; his “Lu” Alexis Bourgeois; and his beloved dog, Cooper; grandparents, Elaine Broussard and partner, James “Jimmy” Dupuy, Theresa Schexnayder; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Raymond “Poppa” LeMaire and Remy “T-Boy” Schexnayder. Services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at The Grande Venue in St. Amant with visitation from 10am until service at 12pm.

Landon sure brightened the halls and classrooms at STA High while he was there. He was kind, loving, and funny—just a really great guy. My prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
