
Marvin Leslie Summerlin, 77, lost his battle with Brain Cancer and peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of March 26.
Marvin was born Dec. 13,1945 in Jackson, MS, and was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He joined the U. S. Army at 17, where he later met and married his wife, Ursula
Marvin was predeceased by his wife Ursula, his mom Frankie Mae Hudson, his sister’s Mary and Myrtis, his brothers John, Capers, George, and Louie, his son in law David Aleman, and his grandson Barry Joshua.
Marvin is survived by his children John, Rose, and Lola, his grandchildren John (Chris), Bryan, and Rebecca, and his great grandchildren Christian, Celina, Ciara, Carlos, Cam’ron, C’ella, Chloe’s, Jasmin, Jada, Jamaya, E. J., Heaven, Damon Joshua, and Malaya.

Brother I will always remember the good times we had growing up. I will miss you.
It was a blessing to have been able to visit with Uncle Marvin a few weeks ago. I know his brothers and sisters were anxiously awaiting him on the other side of glory. I know Big Mama was proud to hug and kiss her son once again.
