Ruby L Talbert passed away peacefully Sunday January 29th, 2023. Ruby was born on September 22, 1951, in Meridian Mississippi. Ruby loved spending time with her family, if you knew her you loved her. Ruby was best known as Maw Maw to so many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jimmy Talbert and her mother and father Callie and George Ivy. She is survived by her 2 kids Eric (Maria) Talbert, Brandy (Gregory) Gros. Brother Pete (Archie) Smothermon, Sister Cathy Smotherman. 9 Grandkids: Tyler (passed away 3-13-2016) Talbert, Austin Talbert, Adam Sellers, Breanna Talbert, A.J Sellers (fiancé McKinney), Jimmy Sellers, Seth Gros, Dylan Gros, Breydon Gros, Macee, Camden, Graysen, and Tylee ; and many Great Grandchildren. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, and Maw Maw. She will by missed by so many. Until we see you again Ma. We love and miss you.

I always loved those times of stopping at y’all’s house every morning to wake y’all up, just to hear you and paw say y’all are retired and don’t have to get up, and even when I would sneak you a dessert here and there.
