
Charlotte Ann Robinson Lawson fell asleep in the arms of her Lord on December 30, 2022, at the age of 76. She was born in Springfield, Louisiana on January 8, 1946, to James “Dick” Robinson and Orine Richardson Robinson. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Charlotte graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 1964 with honors. She was a lifelong member of the Church of God, having served on the Board of Directors of the New Beginnings Christian Church of Hammond, Louisiana. She was passionate about God, family, her children, and especially her grandchildren. Charlotte is survived by her children Mark Mattison (Rebecca), Daniel Mattison (Krista), and Michelle Griswold (Scott), and her grandchildren, Gracie, Audrey, Graham, Scotty, Gayla, and Mattie, as well as her sisters Barbara Jenkins (Gary “Skip”), Debra Robinson, and Maurine “Joy” King (Robert “Rob”), and special friends Carola Landry and Sharon Schillace as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lawson; her former husband, Michael Mattison; her parents, James “Dick” and Orine Robinson; her brother, James “Jimmy” Robinson; her sister, Shirley Tate; and her grandson, Gabriel Mattison. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Summerfield Retirement Home for making it home to Charlotte. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
We we remember when we first met you and we connected you you as we did with all the family.
We are so glad we saw you when we came over for Kathy 80th birthday. You will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
