Nonna Marie Berteau, born June 16th, 1955, and a resident of Gonzales LA passed away on Thursday December 22, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was a retired hairdresser who enjoyed hosting family parties, hanging out with friends playing cards. Survived by her husband, Dean Berteau Sr.; son, Dean Paul Berteau Jr.; daughter in law, January Berteau; grandchildren, Taylor Picou, Allie Beth Picou and Jayden Berteau. She is also survived by her sisters, Cheryl LeBlanc, Darlene Landry; brother, Vernon “Vern” LeBlanc Jr.; and sister’s in-law, Terrilyn LeBlanc, Mary Jackson and Darnell Berteau. Proceeded in death by son, Chet Berteau; parents, Edith and Vernon LeBlanc Sr.; in-laws, Whitmel and Louise Berteau; brother-in-law, Duane Berteau. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside service at Prairieville Cemetery, Duplessis Rd., Prairieville, LA on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10:00am.
