Nancy Lee Debenport was born June 26, 1948 to William Broadbent and Theresa Carpenter, and passed on November 28, 2022 from heart complications. She is preceded in death by her son Steven Micheal Debenport. She is survived by her husband Parker Debenport, whom she met July 3, 1967 at a dance hall on Newport Jazz Festival weekend (but neither one had a ticket), and married September 16, 1967. They were married for 55 mostly wonderful years. She is also survived by her son Timothy Debenport and his children Sean and Abby Debenport; Steven’s children Devin Debenport, Zain Armond, and Bailey Richoux; and great granddaughter Zaylee.
Nancy Lee graduated from Jefferson Nursing School in New Orleans with one of the highest scores of the school at the time. She worked 35 years as a LPN, the last 10 years of which she worked as an agency nurse in hospitals and nursing homes between Slidell and Jennings, LA.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

We are so sorry. We so wish we could help in the healing. We have only recently moved to the South and now find part of our family gone. But you and others remain. For this we are grateful.
