Henry Jacob Gordon, Jr, age 76, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 1:03pm with his wife at his side at the Golden Age Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Denham Springs.
A native of Metairie, LA, he lived most of his life in the Baton Rouge area. He was a self-employed construction worker and spend 25 years as a pipefitter and boilermaker.
Private graveside services will be held later to have him placed in the family cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Faye Gordon; two sons, Henry Dale Gordon and Jake Henry Gordon, III; daughter, Laura Bienvenu; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jacob Gordon, Sr and Velma Wales Gordon; two daughters, Jacqueline Gordon-Pate and Liana Gordon; siblings, Bernice, Josie, Elton and Christine.
