When the day shall come that we do part, if my last words are not “I Love you”, you will know it was because I didn’t have time….
Douglas Timothy “Timmy” Arnold greatly loved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on June 1st, 2022, at 50 years of age. Timmy was the most kindhearted, selfless, nonjudgmental man anyone could ever meet. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving and giving spirit left a beacon of light for all his family and friends. He meet the love of his life Kimberly Arnold 32 years ago and nothing short of death could separate them. Timmy’s three children were the crowning accomplishments of his life. There was no limit to his love and tenacity in protecting his children. Timmy never met a stranger and was the one we depended on in time of need. His love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing was known by all. He was the highly respected president of Rut and Sturt hunting club where his top priority was to provide a safe and family-oriented hunting experience and he succeeded. Some would even say he was the best crawfish boiler in the state of Louisiana. The loss of this man was felt by all. He is remembered as the man who stepped up to care and lead his nieces and nephews. Whether it was teaching them the ways of the outdoors or being by their side during hard times. He was known as the ultimate confidant and keeper of secrets. He was loved and appreciated, and he will forever be missed. Timmy is survived by his wife Kimberly D Arnold and his three children and their families: Danielle Nevels with husband Anthony Nevels of Denham Springs, Olivia Whittington with husband Brenon Whittington and expected first grandson Josiah Timothy Whittington of Walker, and son Owen Arnold with fiancé Rayvin Chenevert of Livonia. His parents Douglas Arnold and Dianne Arnold of Fordoche. Brother Daniel Arnold and wife Juanita, sister DeShae Romig and husband Troy of Maringouin. A very large extended family including 6 nieces, 8 nephews, 8 great nieces, 18 great nephews, 8 great great nephews.
Timmy was preceded in death by his grandparents John D and Florence Arnold, and Henry and Myrtle Temple. Best friends and brothers of heart Jerry Seymour and Wayne Tagliarino.
