Leslie K. Sibley, Sr. died January 18, 2022 in Zachary, Louisiana. He was 79 years old.

Leslie was born on March 29, 1942. He graduated from Baker High School, was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and went on to become a millwright at the papermill for many years. He was a kind and gentle father to his children, a generous provider to his family, and a talented musician and vocalist, traveling extensively doing evangelism at many churches in the deep south. He loved fishing, collecting guns, and visiting hock shops, always looking for that next treasure. Leslie loved to make people laugh. He was the Associate Pastor at Christian Bible Fellowship for over 20 years. He is survived by his children Les Sibley, Jr (Christy), Delisa Sibley, Jeri Sibley Kravat (Rick), Jesse Sibley (Miranda), and Colee Sibley (Stacy), 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Lillie Sibley and his beloved wife of 53 years, Shirley Frank Sibley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21 from 5 to 8pm and Saturday, January 22 from 10am to 12pm with Service and Reception following at New Covenant Church, 215 Florida Ave SE, Denham Springs, LA 70726.

Internment will take place on Monday, January 24th at the Louisiana National Cemetery Complex 303 W Mt Pleasant Zachary Rd, Zachary, LA 70791, where committal services and military honors will be rendered.
