Tate Allen Adkins passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 28. Tate is survived by parents Deborah and Richard Montelius; Brothers Trent (Lainey) Adkins, Travis and Brandon (Chelsey) Montelius; Sister Brittany (Alec) Little and Logan Hall. He will be missed by dearly by his 3 nieces Cassidy, Chloe and Charlotte and nephew Braydon; Grandfather Gilbert Montelius; Great Grandmother Nan Skains; Aunts Stefanie Chason, Cindy Skains, Shannon and Francis Shaughnessy; Uncles Bentley and Frank McAnally. Preceded in death by Father Ronald Adkins; Grandparents Marilyn and Harold McAnally, Sharon and Frank Shaughnessy, FC Comeaux, Larry Adkins and Barbara Montelius; Close Cousin Lacie Paxton. Church Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Oh Tater. This is so difficult & the last of final moments. I still haven’t accepted that you are no longer here. I just can’t yet. I will some day. I know I need to. I know you are at home with your & our Father. No longer in any suffering from that horrible accident that some douchebag left in these moments that I’m quite sure came as a result from that accident. Every effort I’m sure will be made til they hopefully find this person. You are so loved & were & that will never change. You were an amazing young man with a heart the size of eternity. Always looking out for others, spending a lot of your time with your nieces & nephews. You were a great friend to David Theriot & TJ Sauce, my son’s. I enjoyed being a third surrogate momma, of course you had your mom Debra & step mom before me. I will never forget you. I always thought of you as my son. Not step son. Ever ever!!! You were brothers to David Theriot, TJ Sauce, Mia Adcock, my daughter, & uncle to DJ Theriot. May you live in forever eternal peace up above as a guardian angel over so many. Only a job you can handle. Say hello to my late husband, your surrogate step father & go do some heavenly hunting & fishing with God, his brother Brent Sauce. Hope you find mawmaw Patty Adcock, your surrogat e grandma who loved you so much. She will be there too with open arms. She will love to see you again.
