Ronny was born to this world on September 22, 1959 and shed his earthly body at 5:30 am August 25th, 2021. He began taking things apart at a young age curious at how things worked. He became one of the best mechanics in Baton Rouge for over 30 years. He owned several of his own mechanic shops and was a managing partner of Firestone. Ronny loved the water! Salt water fishing was one of his favorite things to do! Ronny was a friend to so many, would help anyone that needed help.
He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life, Candi Cooper Y’Barbo, and he was the love of her life as well. Daughter Heather Denton, granddaughters Piper Y’Barbo, and Presley Denton, brother Ricky Y’Barbo and wife Debra, Sister Billie Bernice Richardson and husband Kevin, nephews Jimmy Payne and Marcie, Chris Payne and Jamie, and Shawn Payne and Serena. Nieces Ashley Y’Barbo and Jennifer Y’Barbo. He is preceded in death by his parents Billie Y’Barbo and Geraldine Martin Y’Barbo, nieces Kristian and Denise “Sissy” Richardson.
Thank you to those that have reached out in love and support. The stories that have been relayed to us about him have been a comfort and each one solidifies the giving nature of the heart we knew he had.
Loved him like A brother. We worked together, played together and always had a good time together. Rest in Peace my brother
