Darryl Jude Lavigne was born on September 13, 1966, in Lutcher, LA and departed form this life on Sunday July 18, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Ascension Community at the age of 54 years.
He was a resident of St Amant, he enjoyed fishing, baseball, golf, time spent with kids, his nieces, and nephews. He will be remembered as always putting smiles on people’s faces, and having a huge heart, that he would give the shirt off his back for someone.
He is preceded in death by is father Morris Lavigne Sr.
Survivors include his mother Hilda T. Lavigne, children Lauren Lavigne and Nicolas Hammac, siblings Sheila Bentley (Steve), and Morris Lavigne Jr., (Tammy), also survived by niece, nephews, other relative and a host of friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday July 25, 2021, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Darryl’s residence in St Amant.

I remember when D’La came to visit us in north Mississippi and we went to a Memphis Red Birds minor league game. It was such a great day. I’m thankful for the good he brought into the world, especially my grandson, Nicolas.
