On January 31st, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the kind soul of Yasmina Jarma Reveiz ascended to heaven at 75 years old. A great woman, loved and adored by many. Yasmina was the best example of kindness, charity and unconditional love. She touched the lives of many since her youth in Santa Marta, Colombia, where she was born and lived a large part of her life, dedicated to her family and working hard as a travel agent, where she had the pleasure of meeting many people and winning the hearts of many friends and acquaintances. Her work continued in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she voluntarily dedicated her time to teach religion classes in the Hispanic Apostolate and help prepare children for their First Communion. At the same time, she worked for several years for the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, where her warmth, kindness and patience, earned her the respect and affection of many. Yasmina will always be missed and loved by her family and friends. May God give strength, peace and resignation to her husband Guillermo, their children; Guillermo, Mery (and her husband Carlos), Monica (and her fiancé David), to her grandchildren; Carlos, Ethan, Kenneth and Valeria. Her sisters; Denis, Surella, Ena, and her brothers; Tony and Emigdio, her niece and nephews, and all those who had the joy of meeting her. Now she rests in peace and love with God in heaven, like a guardian angel protecting her family and friends. We will always love you xoxoxo.
The funeral service of our beloved Yasmina will be on Tuesday, February 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Saint George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
