Elton Louis Lebeau Jr was born on March 6, 1958 in Gonzales and passed from this life on Monday October 19, 2020 at Our Lady of the Regional Medical Center at the age of 62 years.
He was a resident of Gonzales, and retired Superintendent with Ormet Corporation.
Elton lived each day with a smile and a joke. He kept everyone laughing and on their toes with his quick wit. He understood the importance of both work and play and put his all into each. He loved his family with every ounce of his being and none of us went a day without knowing that. Above all, the love for his wife was unrivaled. They are perfect compliments and supported each other through thick and thin.
Survivors include his devoted wife Debbie M. Lebeau; parents Elton Lebeau Sr and Lynois Lebeau; children Tara, Chelsea, Shannon, and Jonathon Santone; his siblings Carla Waggenspack, Anita Armand, Mary Hamilton, and Glenda Squyres; grandkids Anthony Klien, Frankie, Avery, Addison, and Milo Santone; great grandkid Leslie Klein
Due to Covid-19 there will be a private gathering for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given that will be used by the family to honor his life and memory. To give a memorial gift please visit https://www.ilof.com/st-amant/elton-l-lebeau-jr

I am so very sorry for your loss. I only met Elton a few times, but the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren was always evident. Know that God is with you and shows His love by all those who surround you at this time,
Noona was a hoot when he’d get on a roll mocking and laughing at/with me. He was a joker but then could be serious as a heart attack at times. Good friend.
I put in a lot of long hours with Elton at Ormet. He could always come up with a way to make the time pass faster. You never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. He was good at his job and a good hearted man.
Debbie & family, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Many prayers to the Lebeau family. May the Holy Spirit comfort all of you in this time of sorrow.
