Bernard was born in Baton Rouge on June 1, 1980 and departed from this life on May 17, 2020 at the age of 39 years. He was a resident of Gonzales and worked with Excel Modular Scaffold. He enjoyed reading, writing, driving his Camaro, and playing GTA. His greatest passion was his son and his son’s future.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mike and Deborah Roberts Doucet.
He is survived by his son Daman Lamar Maximas Ledlow; his companion Quinn Gautreaux; stepsons Cade and Christian; siblings LeAnne Pickering and Briand Ledlow; step siblings Michael and Brock Doucet; uncle Darrell Roberts; aunts Marie Capers and Karen Roberts; his like a sister cousin Jamie Capers and her daughters Danyelle and Jazmine; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Low where do I being , I miss you so much and the time that you and I had together will never be forgotten nor replaced. I love you so much and I know you love me. I can’t quite catch my breath some days. It doesn’t seem real at all. My heart aches knowing the pain you must have felt. I wish we could have helped you but I know now that you are not hurting anymore and you are with your mom and favorite uncle, Peewee. Please watch over us.
