A resident of Paincourtville, La., he passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 73 years. Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Paincourtville, La. at 5:00pm. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lorita Herrington Sharon; daughter, Melissa Hebert and husband, Dalton, Jr.; sisters, Amy Guillot and husband Curtis, and Juanita Jarreau and husband Joseph “Duddy”; grandchildren, Heath Wayne Strickland, Bryan Strickland Jr., John Strickland, A.J. Hebert and Maranda Hebert; great-grandchildren, Braylen and Sabastian. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. and Estelle Sharon; daughter, Dana Strickland; brothers, Joseph, James and Edward Sharon; sister, Deborah Richard.
