Stephanie “Raquel” Benoit, a resident of Baton Rouge passed away Saturday August 17th at Ochsner Medical Center. She was 32 yrs old, born March 31, 1987. She is survived by her partner Joshua Birchfield and daughter Keelei Rae Birchfield. Father- Mark T. Benoit, Mother- Paula Burges Benoit. Sister- Brandie Benoit,  niece’s- Abrianna Land, Madolynne Mitchell, nephew- John Steven Land lll, Aunts- Diane & Marty Bienvenu, Dana & Keith Herron, Eve & Eddie Gilcrease, Jimmie Lynn Benoit, Uncles- Scotty Benoit, Luke Benoit, Damon Benoit, Louie Burges Jr., Daniel Burges, David Burges, Maternal grandparents- Louie & Aline Burges Sr, two closest cousins Kyle and Jonathon Burges and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Jim & Linda Benoit, paternal grandmother- Delores Sonnier & 1 uncle Steve Benoit.  A ceremony celebrating her life will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday at Encounter Church, 12112 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge; visitation will begin at 3 pm until 6 pm.
