Donald E. Quave passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at his home in Killian at the age of 84. He was retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service.
A memorial service will be held at The Way Christian Center, 45418 Durbin Road, Hammond, LA at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Letha Quave; sons, Ronald Quave and Gary Quave and wife Dena Quave; 5 grandchildren, Jeff, Daniel, Sarah, Ron and Samantha; 6 great- grandchildren; sisters, Rose Lee Willie and Marilyn Hartley; brothers, David, George, Larry and Charlie; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Nuther and Deanie Quave; brothers, William and Herbert Quave. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Louisiana Hospice. Church Funeral Services in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
