A native of Beaumont, Mississippi, and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mr. Lee M. King passed away March 30, 2019, at the age of 83. He was a military retiree and former security guard. He is survived by his loving wife, and a host of loving children, grandchildren, and other family members. Mr. Lee enjoyed cooking, watching westerns, talking to friends, taking long rides, and listening to the blues and spirituals. His family is grateful to have had him for as long as they did and are comforted in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. My well wishes go out to the family of Mr. King. I did not know him personally but knew his son, Eric very well. I am very sorry for the loss.
My deepest condolences to you and your family, you are in my prayers, Charlotte
Beloved King Family,
We were saddened to learn about the passing of your loved one. Please know that we share your sorrow.
Jehovah God never intended for humans to die; so he too grieves when a loved one dies. He feels your pain; (Isa. 63:9) and looks forward to the day when he – through Jesus Christ – will end the last enemy, death, forever. – 1 Cor. 15:26
May the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, comfort all of you at this time. – 2 Cor. 1:3, 4
Love,
Patricia Ijidakinro and Family (Aunt of Victor, Eric, & the late Brian King)
You are and will always be my Papa. I know you loved us and we loved you so much. We didn’t appreciate your presence but we will honor you in your absence. You taught me so much and I will NEVER forget your words of advice and the sound of your laughter. You were an angel ? sent from heaven to provide and protect us. Thank You. I love you xoxo
I was not blessed as to have met Mr. King but was fortunate enough to get to know his son Eric. If a child is any indication of a father, Mr. King was a man of great integrity who will be dearly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with the King family.
My deepest sympathy is to you at this time of sorrow. I pray for your comfort in these days ahead God-bless you and keep you in his tender care and love for all eternity.
