A Mass celebrating the life of Lora “Lo” Broussard will be held at 11 am on Friday at St John Catholic Church; visitation will begin at 9:30 am; with Fr. Jerry Morgan officiating. Lora was born on August 1, 1956 and departed from this life on February 18, 2019 at the age of 62 years. She was a resident of Prairieville, she spent the past few years being a caregiver. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing phone games. Her passion was time spent with her family and especially being a grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “B B” Broussard; and her father, E. J. Moore Jr. Survivors include her mother, Shirley A. Moore; her daughter, Danica Broussard; her grandson, Dresdan Moore; her siblings, Rene Forbes (Carl) and Matt Moore (Bonnie); and by her feline companions, Fluffy and Tyrone. Danica…so sorry for the passing of your mother…though I did not know her well, I always respected and admired the bond she carried with your Dad until his passing and beyond. “Some heart strings are never broken and being the token of that love bond” know that they will forever be at your side watching over you. Prayers and hugs to your family, especially her mother…losing a child, be it two minutes or a hundred years it is a heartbreak beyond all others.
