A gathering celebrating the life of Gaylon P. Lessard will be held Sunday at Port Vincent Community Center, with visitation beginning at 2 pm until 6 pm; and a memorial ceremony at 3 pm.

Gaylon was born on March 26, 1956 in New Orleans and departed from this life on January 16, 2019 at the age of 62 years.

He was a resident of French Settlement; he loved his family and his motorcycle; and always treated others as he wanted to be treated.

He is preceded in death by his mother Cleo Lessard

Survivors include his wife Dawn B. Lessard; children Ramsey Catoir, Shannon Shaules, Levi Lessard and Shay Lessard; brothers Mike, Curtis and John; also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
