A Mass of Christian Burial for Jesus Manotas Sr will be at 11:00am on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church; wake begins at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum. Mr. Manotas was a resident of Prairieville, till displaced by the flood now Gonzales; he was born on November 21, 1936 in Barranquilla, Columbia, S.A. He passed from this life on Monday September 10, 2018 at the age of 81 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Gerado and Josepha Manotas; siblings Armando, Orlando, Julian, Tarciso, Otencia and Carmin; daughter-in-law Chere Kiser Manotas. Survivors include his wife Victoria Prettelt Manotas; sons Jesus Manotas Jr of Senoia, GA, Rafael Manotas and wife Rochelle Bond Manotas of Winder, GA., Edwin Manotas and wife Jamie Berthelot Manotas of Port Vincent; daughter Yvette Manotas Wood of Auburn, GA; grandchildren Ryan, Tony, Julie, Joshua and Jessica, Jordan and Ashley, Alyssa, Rachael, Evan, Chris, Seth, Peyton and Addison; great grandchild Lyric and Mason; sisters Lyhia and Teresa; also survived by a host of other relative and friends.
