A native of Blackburn, Mo. and a resident of St. Amant, LA he passed on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 87 years. He retired from Enterprise Transportation. Visitation will be on Thursday August 23, 2018 at Faithful United Methodist Church, St. Amant LA from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and will resume on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 9am. Funeral Service at 11:00am. The service will be conducted by Rev. Russ Clunan. Interment will be at Faithful United Methodist Cemetery. He is survived by Sons, Douglas Hogan, Curtis Hogan and wife Gina Bell; daughter-in-law, Robin Hodges Hogan; Grandchildren, Kindra Grosso, Chyna Hogan, Garrett Hogan, Lexi Hogan, Austin Hogan, Tyler Hogan, Christa Hogan, Jessica Hogan, and 9 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Wife of 57 years, Marianne Waltimyer Hogan; Parents, George Hogan & Laura Tieman Hogan of Blackburn Mo and son, Robert James Hogan. A.J. was adopted in August of 1931, grew up on a farm in Blackburn Mo. He played basketball and baseball as a kid, loved car racing and Nascar, spending time with his kids and grandkids in his RV traveling and camping on the river!
