Daniel Vincent Murphy, a native of Baton Rouge, resident of Denham Springs, passed away suddenly May 11, 2018. He was a graduate of CHS class of 1981. Dan was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He never met a stranger. His joy for life was evident in in his lawn care business. Every client became a friend. Dan loved hunting, the outdoors and watching his boys march in Tiger Stadium. Dan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Ann Rotolo, twin sons, Caleb and Hayden, mother, Betty, four brothers, Kevin, Brian, Michael, three sisters, Patricia, Mary Ellen, Catherine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Bernard Ignatius and sister Colleen Murphy Harvell. Services will be held on May 19, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church in Denham Springs. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 followed by Mass services at 12:00. Reception immediately following in church hall.
