Charlie went peacefully to see Jesus in his heavenly home Thursday, April 26, 2018.A funeral service celebrating the life of Charlie E. Peevy, Jr. will be at Gonzales Baptist Temple, 2807 South Hodgenson Ave, Gonzales, LA 70737, Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11am. Visitation will be Monday evening April 30, 2018 from 5pm-8pm and will resume Tuesday morning May 1, 2018 from 10am until service time.He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Emmitt Peevy, Sr. and Mary Mae Unbehagen Peevy; granddaughter Megan Michelle Tagert; brother David Peevy, and sister Betty Carnline.Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Faye Peevy; daughters Linda Cooper (Troy), Pamela Tagert (Richard), Michele Cook (Bill); grandchildren Kaitlyn Borne, Samantha Tagert, Austin Vavasseur, Cody Cooper, Jonathan Tagert, Nathan Cook; and 4 great grandchildren.For many years Charlie was the director of Blessed Hope Boys Ranch in Gibslands, La and was a member of Local 198.Arrangements made by Church Funeral Services and Crematory.
